Myself and my dad, we decided to start 2019 off strong with an impromptu Triathlon. Swimming a quarter mile, running one mile and biking 11 miles. This was a lot of fun and I want to do it again soon. on the map to the right there is a lot of gray squirming around, that is transition zone where we prepared for the next segment. We first swam in the open ocean. I did not particularly enjoy this part because of the constant berating of waves in my mouth and nose. Next we biked for 11 miles down past Sharikies Pier and taking the bike path back in a large loop. With around 20 miles an hour average we were cruising. Bellow is a picture of the bikes we used. I started with the very janky looking one, until we hit the halfway point where we switched. Finally we ran one mile, to the end of the jetty and back. We only ran this short of a distance because of an injury involving my dads hip.
